Jodie spent many years living and working in Europe before settling back on the Peninsula with her partner and two children. Jodie enjoys running, travel and relaxing with her family up on the Sunshine Coast.
Bruce is the founding partner of the firm, with a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years. Bruce was a highly respected criminal prosecutor from 1985 to 1991. He then went on to open Bruce Gleeson Solicitors, which over the years evolved into GKS Law. Bruce now focuses on commercial and property law.
Bruce is married with a passion for golf and fine single malt whisky.
Hayley was admitted to practice as a solicitor in September 2014 and works exclusively in the area of Personal Injury Law.

Erin joined the GKS Law conveyancing team in June 2015. Erin joins us from having previously worked in law firms in Hervey Bay and is an integral member of our conveyancing team.

Sheree commenced working with GKS Law in 2009 having previous experience working in several city firms. Sheree is Kane Stegeman’s executive assistant, supporting him with litigation matters. Sheree’s experience makes her an invaluable member of the GKS Law team.

Shannen joined GKS Law in 2018 and has worked within the law industry for many years. Shannen has a wealth of experience and knowledge in property law.

Kane was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2005 and is an experienced litigation practitioner.
Kane is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Sunshine Coast Law Association and volunteers at the Sunshine Coast Community Legal Service.
Outside of work, Kane’s interests include Rugby League, Touch Football and Oztag. His love for the code and his chosen career, assists him greatly as a member of the Sunshine Coast/Gympie Rugby League Judiciary and Chairman of the Disciplinary Tribunal. Kane is also an independent Board member of both the Sunshine Coast/Gympie Rugby League and Sunshine Coast State Cup Rugby League team.
Ben is an admitted Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia and is an Associate with GKS Law in the Commercial/Property Team, Wills and Estates Team and Litigation Team.
Over his six years in the industry, Ben has worked in a broad range of Commercial, Property, Wills and Estates and Litigation roles.
Ben’s expertise includes acting for Lessors and Lessee’s in Commercial, Industrial and Retail Leasing and advising on disputes arising out of Leases, Portfolio Property Disposals and Acquisitions, acting for Private Lenders and Financial Institutions in drawing Security Documents and advising on Security and Refinancing Transactions, and much more.
Ben is passionate about all aspects of agribusiness and regularly advises on rural property transactions including the buying and selling of farms, livestock and water allocations. He also prides himself on being approachable and having excellent communication channels with his clients.
Tracey commenced working at GKS Law in 2012. Tracey brought to the firm over 20 years legal experience. This experience allows her to excel at her role as Accounts and Practice Manager.
Tracey is efficient with an eye to detail that ensures the smooth administration and management of the firm’s business affairs.

Tracey loves to play netball and tennis and would consider herself a ‘people person’ who likes nothing better than relaxing with her husband, two children and friends over a BBQ. Tracey and her family also love camping on the beach and travelling around Australia.
Shane joined GKS Law in 2018, bringing with him a wealth of expertise from his time as partner at one of Queensland’s biggest personal injury law firms. Shane, a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, is an asset to the GKS Law team, with over 17 years of experience.
Shane is a member of the Qld Law Society, Brisbane Racing Club, Moreton Bay Law Association and is a past President of the Sunshine Coast Law Association. In his spare time, Shane enjoys a round of golf, a day out at the races and is heavily involved in his children’s extra-curricular activities including coaching his son’s soccer and rugby league teams and ferrying his daughter around to her dancing commitments.
Rachel joined the GKS Law team in February 2015.

Susie worked in the law industry for over 15 years, joining GKS Law in 2017, after a ten year career break that gave Susie the opportunity to live and work on Hayman Island and overseas in Vanuatu and Fiji. Susie is now a valuable, energetic member of the conveyancing team.
In her free time, Susie enjoys spending lazy days by the pool with her husband, son and four grandkids. Susie is also a passionate and dedicated volunteer for the Queensland Lost Pet Register, involved with training and coordination of social media promotion.
Casey joined GKS Law in 2017, having worked in the law industry for the past seven years.
